Teamwork Refugee Youth is a strand of the Birmingham New Communities Network which deals exclusively with refugee, asylum seeker or immigrant aged 5- 25+ years. Our three principle aims are to:

• Increase pride of young people’s own heritage
• Uplift skills and gain confidence
• Improve relationships with the people who matter in young people’s lives and their community.

The way we operate is to use art, the sharing of food, activities and residential trips to help individuals feel build friendships and integrate into their new community. BNCN seeks to continue this tradition of partnership and collaboration as it moves through the next phase of development from 2012 onwards.
